Kids Herbal Medicine Morning

Immerse the kids into nature with this fun-fact-filled herbal medicine morning with The Matakana Naturopath. 

Ideal for kids 5yrs+ that love being outside, making "potions" and getting creative amongst nature. 

Teaching kids about herbal medicine through story, song, movement & mindfullness. 

The morning will take place in a public park within 10kms of Matakana (location confirmed the day before depending on wind/tides/moon etc).

There will be story telling, music making, treasure hunting (native herb foraging), creative nature arts, tea tasting and a mini meditation to finish... all based around the teachings of specific herbal plants. 

What to bring:

A drink bottle and morning tea. 

Rainjacket & gumboots if it's raining.

For the parents:

You're welcome to drop and run, or stay and find your own mindful moments amongst nature. 

Sibblings under 5yrs are welcome with parental supervision. 

Spaces are limited to 7 children only
